During the course of your journey in Pokémon Sword and Shield, your Pokémon will continue to learn new moves and forget the older ones. No Pokémon can learn more than 4 moves at any given time, which essentially means that you’ll be forced to forget some moves. On top of that, depending on the level of the Pokémon that you acquire, it may or may not have the move that you desire. To counteract this, Pokémon Sword and Shield has Move Reminder that you can use to re-learn previously forgotten moves. Here’s how:

Pokémon Sword and Shield Move Reminder

The first step to remembering a forgotten move is to head to a Pokémon Center. Once you’re inside one, head to the Healing Point and you should see a man standing near the PC. This man will help your Pokémon learn forgotten moves.

Speak to the man and he’ll ask you which Pokémon you want to remember. Once you’ve decided on a Pokémon, select it, and you’ll be presented with a complete list of moves that your desired Pokémon can learn. And while there’s no fee of doing so, you must forget a pre-existing move to learn a new one – remember that you can’t learn more than 4 moves at any given time.

That’s all!

This is everything we’ve got in our Move Reminder Location Guide for Pokémon Sword and Shield. For more help on the game, check out our Type: Null Pokémon Guide, Poké Jobs Guide, and Fossils Combinations Guide.
