Time of day is tied to killing Visionaries and in Deathloop, you have times of the day including morning, night, afternoon, and mid-day. Time of day is affected by:
- location of the visionaries
- the position of enemies
- intelligence information
- availability of certain passages
The time of day will change when you move to a certain part of the island through the tunnels.
