I also bought first gen Ryzen and SLI 1080s. My 1080s finally tanked so I’m doing a full build regardless. I’m super excited for these, I’m really hoping they talk about the V-Cache chips at gamescom that would be the only deciding factor on putting off buying in immediately. If the 3D is a month or 2 later than the initial drop I’ll buy a board and ram and wait it out!

I think once we are into 2023, we should get mkre consumer oriented SKUs. These the the top-tier CPU prices. You will still need to pay for AM5 mobo and DDR5 RAM though.

I’m going back to Intel where I can use DDR4 still, existing LGA1700, and they have much more reasonable pricing.
