To use Special Attacks in Biomutant you first need to play the opening hours of the game. Get to the point where you get access to the Wung-Fu menu which gives you access to Special Attacks.
Before you can use special attacks you need to learn the fundamentals of basic combos. At the end of your basic combos, you can add special attacks.
Each special combo has its own button sequences that are easy to learn. Whenever you end a combo you will immediately notice the button sequence at the bottom right corner alongside the Special Attack name.
