Greenhouses in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite are arguably one of the most important aspects of the game. Having an understanding of how Greenhouses in the game work and utilizing them properly goes a long way in the game. In a nutshell, Greenhouses in Wizards Unite lets you collect and grow ingredients to brew potions, therefore, it’s a good idea to use them effectively.
Harry Potter: Wizards Unite Greenhouses
Our Harry Potter Wizards Unite Greenhouses Guide will help you understand different aspects of them, finding and entering them, and tips to effectively collect potion ingredients and even Spell Energy.
First things first, in order to use Greenhouses in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, you’ll have to find one and tap it. After you’ve accessed one, the next thing you need to do is to pull out the mystery ingredient. To do so, place your finger on one of the three pots and swipe up. As mentioned earlier, you can also pull out Spell Energy.
Once you’ve used a Greenhouse, a red flag raising from it will indicate that it has already been visited. However, do note that you can always return an already visited Greenhouse at a later time.
How to Grow Ingredients?
To grow ingredients in Greenhouses, you’ll need two things i.e. seeds and water from the overworld map. With both the water and seeds at your disposal, enter a Greenhouse and tap on the “Growing” tab located at the bottom of the screen.
After you’ve decided on what you want to grow from a list of available options, tap on the green “Grow” button. Tap the button again and you’ll be asked to add the required seeds and water into the pots. Do note that if the button happens to be grayed out, it means that you don’t have enough materials.
It goes without saying but different ingredients take a different amount of time to grow. Once an ingredient is fully grown, you’ll have a thirty-minute window to harvest. You should easily be able to identify your grown ingredients from a green glow around them.
However, in order to do so, you don’t even need to be near the said Greenhouse. You can simply tap it from anywhere and be done with it.
How to Improve Ingredients?
Greenhouses in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite also boast a neat social aspect. During the growth of an ingredient, other players can participate in the activity. To do so, you need to enter the Greenhouse glowing green and cast “Herbivicus” in order to improve the plant production.
Look at top of the screen to see a Meter Box to know how much Spell Energy other players have already added to the pool. By using the ‘+’ button, you can determine how much Spell Energy you can add to the overall pool. The more the Spell Energy pumped into growing ingredients, the higher will be the crop production multiplier which maxes out at x9.
Lastly, do note that anyone can get the ingredients once they are done. This is pretty much there is to Greenhouses in Niantic’s Harry Potter. If you’ve anything else to add or ask, feel free to let us know!
