Far Cry 6 Mythical Animals Locations

Before engaging them, do remember that these creatures put up a fight and are not easy to kill. Hard-hitting weapons like Shotguns, RPGs, Supremo, etc. can come in quite handy. Below, we have shared the locations of all the Mythical Creatures in the game:

Mamutito
Mamutito can be found at the top of Isle Santuario.

Black Demoniaco
To locate it, we need to head over to the north of Madrugada. Do note that both types of Demoniaco are located right next to one another – we will need to fight both of them at the same time.

White Demoniaco

Venodiente
To get to Venodiente in Far Cry 6, we need to head over to the Hazardous Waste Disposal near the western edge of Valle de Oro. There will be other crocodiles in the area – making the fight a little longer than it needs to be.

Sanguinario
The last Mythical Animal we can locate in Far Cry 6 is Sanguinario, a jaguar. Unlike other Mythical Animals, however, Sanguinario can only be encounter at night – and even then it is not a 100% chance. Therefore, continue to visit the area at nighttime for a chance to encounter it. As for its location, it can be located toward the southern edge of El Este.

Once all 5 Mythical Creatures have been defeated, we will unlock the ‘Ultimate Predator’ achievement/trophy.

Far Cry 6 Depleted Uranium

In order to get Depleted Uranium, the player needs to sabotage an Anti-Aircraft Cannon and look for a small box nearby. There are 26 Anti-Aircraft Cannons scattered around Yara. Once the base has been cleared, simply open the box to get 50 Depleted Uranium.

Successully sabotaging all 26 AA Cannons and opening the boxes should yield 1,300 Depleted Uranium. Combine this with 250 Depleted Uranium that the game automatically provides in the beginning, we get 1,550 Depleted Uranium which is enough to purchase all the Resolver/Supremo in Far Cry 6. There are also 2 trophies/achievements related to this:

• Friendly Skies – Sabotage 16 Anti-Aircraft Cannons
• Backpacking – Purchase all the Resolver/Supremo for 1,400 Depleted Uranium

As mentioned earlier, these Anti-Aircraft Cannons are located all over the world of Far Cry 6. A good method of locating them all is to fly around in a helicopter and look for a red marker on the map. Once found, land somewhere nearby and clear the area before collecting the Depleted Uranium. It is all pretty simple to do.

We do recommend hitting all these AA Cannons because not only Resolver and Supremo are incredibly potent tools in the game, clearing these Air Bases is a fun side activity that Dani can indulge in to get a break from the main quests in the game.

Far Cry 6 Crash, Stuttering, And Fixes

Far Cry 6 is the latest addition to the franchise and the game’s reception is quite good too. Ubisoft marketed the PC version as optimized for all kinds of PC setups and they kept their promise. The game runs really well even on a GTX 1060. Despite the optimization, Far Cry 6 PC players are reporting errors and issues like in-game crash, low FPS, audio stuttering, crash at startup, and more. The following are the errors and issues that PC players are experiencing along with their fixes and workarounds.

Crash Fix

Far Cry 6 PC players are reporting that the game is crashing while playing and here is how to fix it. According to reports, disabling in-game Ubisoft overlay and GeForce Experience overlay fixes the in-game crash.

Another reason for Far Cry 6 to crash is the use of third-party tools and software like MSI Afterburner, Rivatuner Statistic Server RTSS, or RGB Software. Disable any third-party tool or software you are using and the game will stop crashing.

Your GPU driver might be outdated and causing the game to crash. Update the GPU driver and make sure to do a clean installation to fix the in-game crash.

Another reason for the Far Cry 6 in-game crash is the GPU itself. Either the GPU is overclocked or the GPU isn’t capable of handling the game’s load. If the GPU is overclocked, revert it to its default GPU clock.

If the GPU isn’t overclocked then your GPU is probably old and having a hard time handling the game’s load and causing it to crash to desktop. In that case, use MSI Afterburner and reduce the GPU clock by 100 MHz to fix the Far Cry 6 crash.

In case you don’t want to mess with the GPU clock, players can try capping the game’s max FPS. Capping the max FPS will reduce both CPU and GPU load and will stop the game from crashing. Players can do it from the game’s video settings. Go to video > Advanced Settings > Enable FPS Lock. Enable it and set the value for the Max FPS you want the GPU to render.

It’s a bit of a trial and error to find at which value the game becomes stable. However, as a rule of thumb, if you are currently playing at unlocked FPS, cap the game to 60 FPS. In case your current FPS target is 60 FPS, cap the game to 30 FPS. This will fix the Far Cry 6 in-game crash.

How To Get 60 FPS, Stuttering Fix

Far Cry 6 PC is a well-optimized port and can easily achieve 60 FPS on a number of configurations, although with some tweaking. However, PC players are reporting performance issues with the game like stuttering, low FPS, or random FPS drops. Here is how to fix stuttering and how to get 60 FPS.

First, make sure you have installed the latest GPU driver and there is no background process using too much CPU, GPU, or HDD.

If you are playing on a system with both dedicated and integrated GPU, there is a chance the game is running on the integrated GPU and players are facing stuttering and low FPS. Players just need to make sure Far Cry 6 uses the dedicated GPU.

For Nvidia users, Open Nvidia Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Program Setting > select the game > select “High-performance Nvidia processor” under preferred preferred graphics option.

As for the AMD GPU users, open Radeon Settings > Preferences > Additional Settings > Power > Switchable Graphics Application Settings. Select the game and select the “High-Performance profile” to the game under Graphics Settings. This will fix the GPU lost error.

If the above scenario doesn’t apply to you then open Nvidia Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Program Settings > select Far Cry 6 from the drop-down list and make the following changes.

Anti-aliasing-Gamma Correction – Off
Antialiasing Mode – Application Controlled
Antialiasing Transparency – Off
CUDA GPUs – All
Low Latency Mode – Ultra
Power Management – Prefer Maximum Performance
Shader Cache – On only if you are using an HDD. Don’t need to enable it for an SSD.
Texture filtering – Quality – High Performance
Threaded Optimization – On
Triple Buffering – Off
Vertical Sync – Use the 3D application setting

Apply these changes and players will see a significant boost in performance and stuttering will be fixed too.

Another way to boost Far Cry 6’s performance on PC is the FidelityFX Super Resolution option is the game’s video settings. This setting allows the GPU to render the game at a lower resolution and then upscale it to native resolution. Players have four options, Ultra Quality, Quality, Balanced, and Performance.

Game Not Starting, Crash At Startup Fix

Far Cry 6 PC players are reporting that game is crashing at launch or not starting at all. There are multiple reasons why the game is crashing and here is how to fix it.

One reason for the Far Cry 6 crash at launch might be your OS. The game required Windows 10 64-Bit and doesn’t run on a 32-bit or older OS like Windows 7.

Furthermore, Far Cry 6 doesn’t run on DirectX 11 and requires a DX 12 compatible GPU. Your GPU not supporting DirectX 12 is probably causing the crash.

Your anti-virus might be blocking important game files. Players can fix this by either disabling real-time protection or excluding the game’s install folder from the anti-virus. After that, verify game files and the Far Cry 6 won’t crash at launch.

No Audio, Audio Stuttering, No NPC Dialogue Audio Fix

PC players are reporting that Far Cry 6 is having audio issues like no sound, no NPC dialogue audio, or audio stuttering.

Those of you facing NPC dialogue audio issue, they might’ve selected the wrong audio channels. Right-click on the sound icon in the bottom right and select “Sounds”. Select “Playback” and select your active audio device and click “Configure”. Select the right audio channel and click Test. This will fix the audio issue.

Players reporting the audio stuttering issue with Far Cry 6, diable in-game v.sync and close the game. Open Nvidia Control Panel > manage 3D Settings > Program Settings > select Far Cry 6. Select “Fast” for the Vertical Sync option and hit apply. This fixes the audio stuttering issue with the game.

Far Cry 6 Rides Locations

Finding cars in the game is not hard. Successfully unlocking all the cars in the game rewards the ‘Car Cry’ trophy/achievement which is needed to get the 100% completion status. Below, we have shared the locations of all the rides that can be found in the game:

Juan’s 1956 Beaumont Valentina
This is an unmissable car in Far Cry 6 and is automatically unlocked at the beginning of the ‘Fuel the Revolution’ main quest. Juan will tell Dani about using the ‘Item Wheel’ to call in a car. Upon using the feature, Dani will be introduced to Juan’s 1956 Beaumont Valentina.

1985 Tokai Sabuku
This is hidden inside an FND Storage Facility in Catalina Ridge, La Joya. However, entering the building can be a little tricky. Climb on top of the digger to get inside. From there, head upstairs to locate the ride.

Yami’s 2008 KAG TG
This car is a reward for completing the ‘Backseat Driver’ quest.

1962 Verazzano Bravo
The last car in Far Cry 6 can be acquired after winning a Gran Premio Race. There are multiple locations where Grand Premio Races take place.

Once all the rides have been found, the ‘Car Cry’ trophy/achievement should pop-up.

Castillo is evil and when I say evil, I mean really really evil. I am not going to give away any of the story, because why read about it when you can play it? All his scenes are captivating AF and the guy knows how to hold your attention. You are really going to hate Castillo as you progress through the game. That is going to give you purpose as to why you are blowing stuff up.

The story is impressive and you feel immersed until the end which I find a major plus seeing how I left Far Cry 5 in the middle and have not bothered to touch it ever since. I think Ubisoft has learned a lesson here and the player engagement is much better this time around. The characters might seem a bit too stereotypical but the journey is pretty great and there are plenty of twists and turns that will surprise you. There are character deaths as well but I am not giving away any names!

Now I know that calling Far Cry 6 the best in the series is going to be controversial, so I am calling it the “all-round best”, as it does fix multiple issues that previous games had. That does not mean that it does not have issues of its own. The new inventory system for one is not all that great and I can see how some fans of the franchise might be a bit fussy about it. This could be improved upon further.

Fans of older games will be surprised to learn that there is no skill tree. But there are weapon mods and gear that have different perks, Which can come in handy. The catch here is that to get said weapons and gear, you need to explore and open chests. Or you can just use the in-game currency and buy the equipment that you want from the vendors. Exploration is the better option though. You are in Yara after all, might as well check out the place and what it has to offer.

You cannot save loadouts so you will need to change weapons and gear individually. That might not seem like a big deal when you are going in solo but in co-op, you cant pause the game. That is when you start seeing the problem.

This is Far Cry, so you will be taking over enemy checkpoints and bases for the majority of the game. You can either be sneaky about it by using EMPs and silenced weapons or head-on in with rocket launchers and heavy machine guns.

What are you buying the new Far Cry 6 game for? The repetitive combat cycle? Nah, it’s for the story and Yara. Yara is inspired by Cuba and is a beautiful place to start a rebellion. You are surrounded by all kinds of terrains including bodies of water, hills, forests, and all that green stuff no one really pays attention to.

This gives you an excellent playing ground to try out all kinds of different stunts like jumping off a plane or taking a helicopter out for a spin. You do need to stay clear of the anti-aircraft cannons, or you could just blow them up and not have them bother you at all. Oh, and there are plenty of animals that are out to kill you including vicious crocs. Besides the friendly one that you see in the trailer. They can come at you out of nowhere and take your leg off if you are not careful. Trust me, it has happened to me twice.

From on top, the game seems to touch on some political issues but it does not go too far in that regard and some might say that Ubisoft has played it safe. It is also worth mentioning that the game does cover some social issues and it does that pretty well.

Far Cry 6 also does an amazing job of letting you blow stuff up. The gunplay is amazing and very fluid but that is expected at this point keeping in mind how many Far Cry games have been released so far. There are plenty of traditional weapons that you can use and mod but there are some special weapons that are worth looking into as well.

The vehicles in the game are also pretty cool and they are armed so you can wreak some havoc while on the roads of Yara. The level of customization is also decent. I mean who does not like a buggy that can start flying with a flick of a switch? That is pretty cool. The game also pays tribute to older titles in the franchise. A particular mission I enjoyed had me burn down fields of tobacco with a flame thrower while Bella Ciao was playing in the background. A nice combo indeed!

The new destructive addition to the game is the supremo backpack that can deal some real damage if you want it to. There are different variants that have different functions. One can fire missiles at enemies which can come in handy if you want to blow things up. Then there is the EMP backpack that jams everything around you including alarms so enemies cannot call for reinforcements.

Furthermore, the action can get a bit repetitive for some people. Then again this is a Far Cry game and that is pretty much the formula that Ubisoft has gone with. That is something that you are going to experience in Far Cry 6 as well. So beware of that!

All things considered, Far Cry 6 is fun to play and is one of the best games in the franchise that you can play right now. Antón Castillo is an impressive baddie and taking him down is going to be a joyride that I recommend. I can see myself clocking in 100 hours in this game easily. Shitting on Far Cry might be the new cool, but at its core Far Cry 6 is still Far Cry. I’ll leave it at that!
