Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: The Siege of Paris expansion adds a lot of content and that includes the new Cavalry units. They can be tough to beat but in this Assassin’s Creed Valhalla guide, we are going to walk you through how you can beat cavalry.
Beating Cavalry In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
When encountering cavalry in the game, you might be tempted to get on a mount of your own. Please, do not do that. Once you are on a horse, your attacks are not going to be as effective compared to on foot. You will be better off without getting on a horse of your own.
If you want to take out the cavalry as effectively as possible then you need to target the side of the cavalry which is not protected by a shield. If the cavalry unit is holding a shield on the right, then you should attack from the left. This is something that you should keep in mind when taking on mounted units.
Attacking cavalry units with melee weapons is going to be very challenging so we recommend ranged attacks and using status effects. Aim for the head with fire and poison arrows and keep shooting in order to deal with cavalry effectively.
