Halo Infinite: How to Mark and Ping Enemies

Pinging or marking an item, location, or an enemy is simple, you just need to press ‘X’ on PC. If you are playing on an Xbox console, you can use the d-pad to mark anything. You will receive a feedback sound that indicates that you have successfully marked something.

If a location is out of reach to ping, you can quickly open the map and ping the location from there. Using pings makes you communicate with your team better even if you’re using voice chat. This is also useful in cases in which you or any of your allies don’t know the name of the location.

Players will also see the ping in the bottom left corner of their screen. Such as, if any of your allies has marked an enemy, you will be shown the position of the enemy. An enemy icon on the bottom left of your screen appears when an enemy is marked.
