Nier Replicant Endings
In total, there are 5 endings in Nier Replicant.
Ending 1
The first ending is quite easy to unlock, you don’t have to do anything other than simply play the game. However, keep in mind that you should gather as many weapons and complete as many side quests in Nier Replicant to make it easier to unlock subsequent endings.
Ending 2
At the start of the game go past the second act but keep an eye on the new cutscenes. You will get subtitles for dialogue from a certain perspective during this run. Make it to the end and kill the final boss to get Ending 2. You will also get access to 15 Nightmares.
Endings 3 and 4
To get ending 3 and 4 you need to gather all 33 weapons in Nier Replicant. You can get all of them after getting Ending 1 and 2. Your inventory carries over after each run which makes it easy to collect all weapons in multiple runs. If you have all the weapons and reach the final boss, you will notice that there is a different final boss this time around. Make sure to save your game before you fight the final boss. At the end of the final fight, you will be given the choice to kill the boss. To get Ending 3, kill the boss but to get Ending 4 spare the final boss.
Ending 5
If you spare the boss in Ending 4 you will have to give up your saved data. Once your data is gone, start the new game from the beginning where you will notice some subtle changes. The new content starts when you defeat the Shade and speak with Kaine in The Aerie on the second main mission to visit this location.
