In Disney’s Dreamlight Valley, four special tools can be found and used around the area. These tools are a pickaxe, watering can, shovel, and fishing rod. Each tool has a special purpose and can be used to help you complete tasks around the valley. In this guide, I’ll show you where to find these tools and how to use them.
When the Disney Dreamlight Valley begins, all the players feel that they have magic, so they no longer require anything else. This isn’t true, however; magic’s tools can’t be fully relied on in the game journey.
You will need to collect the Royal Tools during your gaming journey in Disney Dreamlight Valley to help you break the curse. Below I’ve mentioned the Royal Tools
- Pickaxe
- Watering Can
- Shovel
- Fishing Rod
Pickaxe: The Pickaxe is the most important tool for mining gems and minerals, and removing obstacles. You can find the Pickaxe on the southeast side of the Plaza, right next to Scrooge McDuck.
Getting the Pickaxe lets you clear out darkness and return the area to its natural state. A light will beat in the sky, signifying that day/night cycles have resumed.
Watering Can: The Watering Can is located behind the house, in the area where Merlin clears the throne. Watering cans are a great way to water your plants and crops because they require water, just like any other living being.
Shovel: Chez Remy Restaurant in the Plaza has a shovel in front of you, but you can’t see it because you didn’t discover it. However, you can use the shovel for two purposes: digging and clearing.
Fishing Rod: You can use all of the tools in Disney Dreamlight Valley as soon as you get them, except for the royal fishing rod. You won’t be able to use it until you have collected the Pickaxe first. From the Plaza, head towards Peaceful Meadows. You’ll know you’re right when you see a small pond. Go to the end of the Pond, and you will find your broken fishing rod. Take it to meet Goofy, who can help fix it so you can start fishing!
