God of War has cool easter eggs and secrets that you can uncover. One of them is the Infinity Gauntlet from the MCU. In this God of War guide, we are going to go over how you can get the Infinity Gauntlet.
The Infinity Gauntlet is called Gauntlet of Ages and is one of the strongest weapons in the game. There are a couple of things that you need to do in order to get it.
Getting The Infinity Gauntlet In God of War
First of all, you need to get the Shattered Gauntlet of Ages which can be found by completing the Family Business favor that Sindri gives you in Northri Stronghold. To unlock this favor you need to complete Fafnir’s Storeroom after the Sickness main mission.
The Shattered Gauntlet of Ages does not do much other than produce a shockwave which comes in handy when you are dealing with enemy mobs. In order to make the most of it, you need to upgrade it. You can do that by using resources.
The gauntlet of Ages has three enchantment sockets but you can upgrade it to get 6 sockets. The first upgrade is going to cost you 55,000 Hacksilver, 2 Dragon Tears, and 18 Dust of Realms. You can get Dust of Realms by closing realm tears. The second upgrade is going to cost you 90,000 Hacksilver, 3 Dragon Tears, and 25 Dust of Realms.
How To Get Dragon Tears
You can get the first one by defeating Hraezlyr during the mission Inside the Mountain. For the next three, you need to complete the Free Dragons labor during which you need to free Otr, Fafnir, and Reginn. The last one you can get after completing the Return to Summit mission. You will see a corpse of Baldur’s Dragon in the Forgotten Caverns in Midgard. You need to climb up to find the last dragon tear under the nose of the dead dragon. Once you have all 5, you can perform the enchantment on your talisman.
Where To Find The Infinity Gauntlet Stones (Enchantments)
The following are the different stones or enchantments and where you can find them in God of War:
- Mind Stone (Ivaldi’s Corrupted Mind): defeat Valkyrie Olrun in Alfheim.
- Time Stone (Njord’s Temporal Stone): defeat Valkyrie Queen Sigrun at the Council of Valkyries.
- Power Stone (Muspelheim Eye of Power): obtained from the dwarf shop in Muspelheim.
- Soul Stone (Andvari’s Stone): complete Brok’s favor in Volunder mines.
- Reality Stone (Asgard’s Shard of Existence): Defeat Valkyrie Rota in Helheim.
- Space Stone (Eye of Outer Realm): found inside secret chamber of Odin during “escape from Helheim”
