Gear Upgrades To Prioritize In A Plague Tale: Requiem
The following are the gear upgrades that we recommend getting first in A Plague Tale: Requiem;
Softened Cords
While you do get additional weapons as you progress through the game, you will use the sling for a while. That is why we recommend getting the Softened Cords upgrade for your sling. This decrease the noise that the sling makes. So enemies need to be much nearer in order to hear it. This will help you avoid being detected.
Hidden Pockets
This is the first Alchemy upgrade for Amecia and allows her to keep an additional piece of alchemical ammo each. This will give you more flexibility and options when you need them the most.
Bottomless Bag
This allows Amecia to carry more alchemical ammo as well and is best paired with Hidden Pockets. With the two upgrades unlocked you will have more of everything which is going to come in handy when you are backed up into a corner.
Reinforced Bolts
This is the last upgrade for the Crossbow. This allows Amecia to get bolts back from dead enemies. This means that you have an infinite supply of ammo for your Crossbow. The Crossbow is a great weapon that can instantly kill regular enemies and help you take down armored opponents as well.
