There are so many strategies to beat your opponent in NBA 2K23. But one thing that is a constant is learning how to shoot properly. Mastering this aspect of the game is something that can be learned through practice. And there are multiple in-game tools that can help with that. Below, we have shared some Shooting Tips to help you land more shots in NBA 2K23:
Use Appropriate Badges
For those who do not know, you can also use different Badges in NBA 2K23. By using these Badges, you can get a lot of advantages. Some of these Badges can also help you get better at shooting. From our experience, the best Shooting Badges that you can use in NBA 2K23 include:
- Deadeye
- Catch and Shoot
- Claymore
- Amped
- Limitless Range
Go for the Green
It goes without saying but timing is very crucial when it comes to landing a successful shot in NBA 2K23. You can no longer shoot if the Shooting Meter is not in the green section. This is something that you will get better with practice.
Shot Timing Release Time
Another new setting that you can experiment with is Shot Timing Release Time. There are quite a few options available to you ranging from Very Early to Very Late. Depending on which option you choose, you will have less or more time to get the Shooting Meter to green for a successful shot.
However, do note that it does not affect the animation in any way. It just determines the window it takes to hit the green section. You can change it through Controller Settings in the Options.
Shooting Meter
This last tip involves disabling your Shooting Meter. This should allow you to land more shots as it increases the shot window. It is, however, completely optional and something that we do not recommend beginners to use. As a beginner, however, you can also customize the Shooting Meter to your preference.
