The Dragon Priests are mighty enemies in the world of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. They are aged priests who have an appreciation for the Dragons, and they strive for their rein in the world. There are 10 Dragon Priests scattered throughout the world of Skyrim, each having a special mask that enhances their powers. You can defeat them and loot their masks to enhance your own powers, but be warned; they are not foes that can be taken lightly.

This article is your complete guide to finding the Dragon Priests in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

Rather than boring you with gibber jabber, we have compiled a table to find all the Dragon Priests in Skyrim. Pay attention to the enhancements their masks will give you once you defeat them, and choose your enemies wisely.

Dragon Masks Locations Enchantments

This will send you to a new shrine. Once you are in the new shrine, click on the faces in the shrine and place the masks on the statues. The legendary Konahrik mask will be raised. This mask has the miraculous ability to heal the wearer and deal damage to nearby enemies once significantly damaged.

Skyrim isn’t all about killing and being crazy–it’s a well-rounded game that will allow you to settle down by getting married if you wish to. You also make countless connections while playing this game. One can find friends, allies, and even rivals throughout the land. There are also opportunities for romance and marriage. This guide will teach you everything you need to know about romance and marriage in Skyrim.

How To Get Married in Skyrim

Before anything, ask yourself if you want to waste your life away. If the answer is yes, fast-travel to Riften and go through the front gate. Once you’re inside Rifter, look for Bee and Barb, which should be over the bridge–you can’t miss it because it has a corner door. After entering, locate Maramal, who should be easy to find as he’s a Redguard priest. You need to talk to him about marriage in Skyrim, which will unlock the “Marriage Dialogue.” Eventually, you’ll need an Amulet of Mara, which costs 200. Equip it before speaking with a potential spouse. In addition, Maramal will explain to you the reasoning behind why good deeds are necessary to find love. The caution here is that before you can unlock the dialogue for marriage, you first have to finish the “spouse’s personal” quest.

Why is Getting Married Important in Skyrim

There is plenty of reasons to get married in Skyrim:

  1. If you play the game and don’t have money for a home or are homeless, getting married will give you a place to stay. In other words, your spouse’s residence becomes yours.
  2. Every day you will get 100 gold from your spouse.
  3. You can request homemade food once a day.
  4. Your daily stipend will slowly build up when you’re exploring the world. So when you return home, you’ll have a little extra money waiting for you.
  5. Sleeping together in the spouse’s house will reward you with ‘Lover’s Comfort .’As a result, it is easier to level up skills ( 30% for 16 hours).
  6. Your spouse can become your partner in many ways, not just traditional methods. You can assign tasks to them, such as carrying items or looting, which will help you in the long run.

How To Get Rid of Your Spouse in Skyrim

In Skyrim, you can eliminate your spouse by killing them during a quest. Although this may sound freeing, it actually is Widow status for the player, and no one will marry you again in the game. Because many things within Skyrim are taken from reality, including marriage, your partner would stand by you until their last breath if married in the game, so it’s essential to be cautious when choosing a spouse.

Romance and Marriage

In Skyrim, love knows no bounds- you can marry whomever you want, regardless of gender or race. If you push the Illusion Ritual Spell to level 100, you can speak with Drevis Neloren at the College of Winterhold to get the master magic quest. Inquire about anything new from Drevis to start the quest.

Drevis will offer you the special illusion spell called Vision of the Tenth Eye. The spell allows you to see invisible items/texts for 30 seconds. The spell in question is key to finding the master illusion spell clues hidden in the College of Winterhold.

What you are looking for books containing Master Illusion Texts. Here are all the books locations:

  • The first book is sitting on the table inside The Arcanaeum.
  • The second book is on the second floor of the Hall of Attainment. Look under the bench close to the stairs.
  • The third book can be found in The Midden, under the basement of The Hall of Countenance. Check near an Atronach Forge on a table.
  • The final book is on the second floor of The Hall of Countenance. Check on the top of a barrel inside the room near the stairs.

Return the texts to Drevis Neloren in exchange for Spell Tome: Hysteria. This ends the quest, and you can move on to other activities.

In Skyrim, Alduin’s Bane is the thirteenth major quest. It revolves around the reading of the Elder Scroll to defeat Alduin. Your first objective in the quest is to read the Elder Scroll and learn about Dragonrend, so you’ll need to go to the Time-Wound at the Throat of the World. Now open up the menu and select Books from the drop-down list. A lengthy cutscene of Nordic Heroes expelling Alduin will play out before you pick Dragonrend.

It is time to take down Alduin. You cannot go single-handedly against him; you will need a trustworthy companion to help you. The Paarthurnax is your man – he won’t help damage the Alduin, but he will be there for moral support.

Alduin is dangerous when it’s in the air, so when you see that he’s coming to attack, use Dragonrend repeatedly, as it will keep him grounded. To avoid having Dragonrand stolen from you while in midair, use it only when your global cooldown has run out.

The Alduin is, after all, a dragon, so he will use the same attacks as any other dragon. As you backpedal to avoid his fiery or icy breaths, he breaks off from the ground. Don’t stop attacking him until he is dead.

Note: Use caution when using Dragonrend, as there is a chance you will become confused and use it on Paarthurnax rather than Alduin.

When your destruction skill reaches level 100, go to the College of Winterhold and speak with Faralda, who will offer you the Destruction Ritual Master Magic quest. Completing said quest gets you the Fire Storm Tome and access to Blizzard and Lightning Storm from Faralda.

Getting the destruction skill level to 100 opens up a new dialogue option at Faralda. She offers you a book named Power of the Elements. The book is unfinished, but the poem inside it reads:

  • Northward, haunted northern coastline
  • And south, Dwemer live and toil
  • A simple place, a shield from draft
  • At this stand wield mage’s craft
  • So fierce the sea will boil

The poem mentions an area outside Dawnstar called Windward Ruins. Head over there, enter the Barrow and place the book on the pedestal. The next step is to cast the fire spell on the book, which, for some reason, adds another verse to the poem:

  • Under Greybeards’ morning shadow
  • At this northern watch, long lost
  • Nirn’s hoary Throat does scrape the sky
  • Here unleash a chiling cry And gild this stand with frost

The new verse metions North Skybound Watch which is located in the Throat of the World. Head to the area and locate the stone lookout post where you can place the book and cast the fire spell to get another verse.

  • Over western river waters,
  • By Karth bounded, south and north
  • On mountains sits a humble crown.
  • Sky’s wrath on this stand bring forth
  • To shake these snowcaps down

The final verse mentions the Four Skull lookout near Karthwasten. The pedestal you want is behind the stone building, place the book and cast the lightning spell of your choice. This will give you the firestorm spell. Now you can also purchase tomes for Lightning Storm and Blizzard from Faralda.

After you ravage through the Sky Haven Temple, you gain knowledge of Alduin’s wall, which leads you to this point in your journey. This article will be your complete guide to the Throat Of The World Quest in Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

  • Talking to Argneir.
  • Learning the “Clear Skies” Shout.
  • Using the Clear Skies shout to open a path.
  • Talking to Paarthurnax.
  • Learning the Word of Power from Paarthurnax.
  • Using your Fire Breath, shout on Paarthurnax.

Find Arngeir in the High Hrothgar area; when you speak to Arngeir, he becomes irritated at the mention of a shout to defeat Alduin, but he guides the player to the courtyard to teach him how to get the Paarthurnax ability. Read all the three words of Power surrounding Arngeir to learn the clear skies shout.

Nullify the blizzard coming your way using this spell. On the path to Paarthurnax, you will have to use this shout repeatedly to keep putting off this resilient blizzard. Be patient while trying to speak to Paarthurnax; he will eventually give in and teach you a Word for the Fire Breath. Show him the power of your Thu’um using your Fire Breath.

After the long speech that Paarthurnax and then learn about meditation. From this, you are encouraged to choose between the Fus, Feim, and Yol attacks. These give you a sizable boost to your core abilities like your stagger, health, and more fire damage.

Mastering Conjuration requires you to complete the Conjuration Ritual Spell offered by Phinis Gestor at the College of Winterhold. Go to the college and ask Phinis if there is something else you can learn. From there, you will start the final steps to mastering the Conjuration spell.

You can two primary objectives in this main quest:

  • Beat an Unbound Dremora
  • Take the stone to Phinis

The first step is to summon and subdue an Unbound Demora and use it to get the Sigil Stone from Oblivion. Speak with Phinis to get a Summon Unbound Dremora spell.

With the spell in your possession, head to the Hall of Attainment and find a way to the roof, where you should see some candles in a circle. Use the spell to summon the Unbound Dremora in the middle of the candle ring.

Speak with the Dremora and say, “I Summoned You. I Control You Now.” The Dremora won’t like this and will attack you with a Dremora Warhammer. Kill the Dremora and summon it again; this time, say, “Admit That I Control You.”

Things won’t go well the second time too, so you need to kill it again. Use the stone to summon the Dremora for the third time and say, “Will You Submit, Or Do I Need to Banish You Again.”

The Dremora will submit this time, so the next step is to request a Sigil Stone. Once Dremora brings the stone, take it back to Phinis to complete the quest and get the Master Conjuration Spell Tome: Summon Flame Thrall.

After you finish the diplomatic immunity quest in Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, the next step in your journey is to complete the A Cornered Rat quest line. This article will be your complete guide through the Cornered Rat Quest.

  • Talking to Brynjolf.
  • Searching in the Ratway for Esbern’s hideout.
  • Talking to Esbern.

When you talk to Delphine, they recognize the name Esbern. They infer that the man is hidden in the Rifen. You will have to follow these steps to continue through the Cornered Rat Quest:

You will need to talk to Brynjolf because Esbern has trust issues. Find Brynjof in the market and inquire about Esbern. Unfortunately, he seems unwilling to give out any information without getting anything in return. Having a high speech ability helps, but if you’re low on speech, you need to complete A Chance Arrangement quest, and then you return to inquire about Esbern.

Head over to the ratway under Riften, where you should expect to encounter some enemies near The Ragged Flagon. You can pick up the pickpocketing skill in this area; check the beggar. Some Thalmor enemies in The Ragged Flagon try to attack, but they aren’t much of a fight, so should be easy to take down.

Continue toward the Ratway Warrens, which is a sort of insane asylum within the Ratways. You should soon come across Esbern, and at first, Esbern denies being himself until you mention Delphine. Remember what Delphine told you, “Remember the 30th of Frostfall”. He lets you enter his personal living space, which concludes the quest.
