Monster Hunter: World Iceborne Assignments
These quests must be completed by the players in order to increase their Master Rank and earn various rewards including Zenny. You’ll be provided with 50 minutes to complete each of these hunts and will have a “Faint 3 Times” as a failure condition for all of them. With that said, let’s talk about completing these Master Rank Assignments in MHW: Iceborne.
1. Baptism by Ice
Level: Master Rank 1 | Rewards: 14,400 Zenny
You need to hunt a Beotodus to complete this assignment. You’ll find this monster in the Hoarfrost Reach region.
2. Banbaro Blockade
Level: Master Rank 1 | Rewards: 14,400 Zenny
This one requires you to hunt a Banbaro. You’ll find this monster in the Hoarfrost Reach region of the expansion.
3. Ready to Strike
Level: Master Rank 2 | Rewards: 18,000 Zenny
You need to hunt down a Viper Tobi-Kadachi in order to complete this assignment. You’ll find this monster in the Hoarfrost Reach region of the expansion.
4. No Time for Naps
Level: Master Rank 2 | Rewards: 18,000 Zenny
Simply hunt a Nightshade Paolumu to complete No Time for Naps. You’ll find this monster in the Wildspire Waste region of the game.
5. Play Both Ends
Level: Master Rank 2 | Rewards: 18,000 Zenny
This one requires you to hunt a Coral Pukei-Pukei. You’ll find this monster in the Coral Highlands region of the game.
6. Blizzard Blitz
Level: Master Rank 3 | Rewards: 25,200 Zenny
You need to hunt a Barioth to complete Blizzard Blitz. You’ll find this monster in the Hoarfrost Reach region of the game.
7. Ever-present Shadow
Level: Master Rank 3 | Rewards: 25,200 Zenny
Ever-present Shadow requires you to hunt down a Nargacuga. You’ll find this monster in the Ancient Forest region of the game.
8. The Scorching Blade
Level: Master Rank 3 | Rewards: 25,200 Zenny
You need to hunt down a Glavenus to complete this assignment. You’ll find this monster in the Wildspire Waste region of the game.
9. Absolute Power
Level: Master Rank 3 | Rewards: 25,200 Zenny
To complete this assignment, you need to hunt a Tigrex. You’ll find this monster in the Rotten Vale region of the game.
10. A Smashing Cross
Level: Master Rank 3 | Rewards: 25,200 Zenny
This one requires you to counter hunt a Brachydios in order to complete it. You’ll find this monster in the Elder Recess region of the game.
11. A Tale of Ice and Fire
Level: Master Rank 3 | Rewards: 28,800 Zenny
You need to repel Velkhana in order to complete A Tale of Ice and Fire. You’ll find this monster in the Elder Recess region of the game.
12. When the Mist Taketh You
Level: Master Rank 4 | Rewards: 28,800 Zenny
Hunt a Shrieking Legiana to complete When the Mist Taketh You assignment. You’ll find this monster in the Hoarfrost Reach region of the game.
13. The Thunderous Troublemaker!
Level: Master Rank 4 | Rewards: 28,800 Zenny
You need to hunt a Fulgur Anjanath to complete this assignment. You’ll find this monster in the Hoarfrost Reach region of the game.
14. The Disintegrating Blade
Level: Master Rank 4 | Rewards: 28,800 Zenny
This requires you to hunt an Acidic Glavenus. You’ll find this monster in the Rotten Vale region of the game.
15. Bad Friends, Great Enemies
Level: Master Rank 4 | Rewards: 28,800 Zenny
Hunting an Ebony Odogaron in MHW: Iceborne completes this assignment. You’ll find this monster in the Coral Highliands region of the game.
16. The Defense of Seliana
Level: Master Rank 4 | Rewards: 28,800 Zenny
This one requires you to repel Velkhana in order to complete it. You’ll find this monster near the Seliana Supply Cache.
17. The Iceborne Wyvern
Level: Master Rank 5 | Rewards: 28,800 Zenny
The Iceborne Wyvern requires you to finally slay a Velkhana. You’ll find this monster in the Hoarfrost Reach region of the game.
18. The Second Coming
Level: Master Rank 5 | Rewards: 36,000 Zenny
The Second Coming requires you to hunt a Seething Bazelgeuse. You’ll find this monster in the Elder’s Reccess region of the game.
19. Under the Veil of Death
Level: Master Rank 5 | Rewards: 36,000 Zenny
You need to hunt down a Blackveil Vaal Hazak to complete Under the Veil of Death. You’ll find this monster in the Ancient Forest region of the game.
20. A Light From the Abyss
Level: Master Rank 5 | Rewards: 36,000 Zenny
Slay a Namielle in order to complete A Light From the Abyss. You’ll find this monster in the Coral Highlands region of the game.
21. To the Guided, A Paean
Level: Master Rank 6 | Rewards: 14,400 Zenny
In order to complete this assignment, you need to hunt down a Ruiner Nergigante in the Origin Isle.
22. Paean of Guidance
Level: Master Rank 6 | Rewards: 43,200 Zenny
Completing Paean of Guidance assignment requires you to defeat a Shara Ishvalda in the Origin Isle.
23. Sleep Now in the Fire
Level: Master Rank 49 | Rewards: 34,560 Zenny
For this assignment, you need to hunt all target monsters in the Iceborne expansion. You’ll find Tempered Rathian and Tempered Nightshade Paolumu in the Ancient Forest.
24. Return of the Crazy One
Level: Master Rank 24 | Rewards: 28,800 Zenny
You need to defeat a Yian Garuga in order to complete Return of the Crazy One. You’ll find the said monster in the Guiding Lands.
25. Big Burly Bash
Level: Master Rank 6 | Rewards: 48,600 Zenny
You need to hunt all target monsters to complete this assignment.
26. To the Very Ends with You
Level: Master Rank 99 | Rewards: 36,000 Zenny
To the Very Ends with You requires you to slay a Ruiner Nergigante. Your Guiding Lands must be at Level 12. You’ll find the monster in the Guiding Lands.
