In Capcom’s Monster Hunter: World, pendants are accessories that you can equip to your favorite weapons. It’s important to note that pendants in the game are strictly for customization purposes and don’t add/remove any actual damage value from the weapon itself. There are quite a large number of pendants that you can unlock in MHW and their number has grown in the newest Monster Hunter: World Iceborne expansion.
Monster Hunter: World Iceborne Pendants Unlocks
There are multiple methods of unlocking pendants in the game. A few of these include leveling up the Guiding Lands in the game, completing the Master Rank Optional Quests, and going through the Master Rank Assignments in Iceborne expansion.
Iceborne expansion for MHW has added a total of 7 new pendants in the game. All of these require you to have Research Points. A few quick methods of farming some easy Research Points include:
- Hunting Monsters
- Destroying Monster Parts
- Collecting Monster Tracks
- Clearing Bounties in the Game
- Acquiring Special Account Items
With that out of the way, let’s talk about the new pendants added to MHW: Iceborne expansion and unlocking all of them.
1. R.P.D.
To craft the R.P.D. pendant, you need to have S.T.A.R.S. Badge x1 and a total of 500 Research Points.
2. Umbrella
Umbrella pendant in Monster Hunter: World Iceborne expansion requires you to have the S.T.A.R.S. Badge x1 along with 500 Research Points.
3. The Tofu Survivor
When you combine the S.T.A.R.S. Badge x1 with 500 Research Points in the game, you unlock The Tofu Survivor pendant.
4. Focus
In order to unlock Focus pendant in MHW: Iceborne expansion, you need to have Banuk Warrior Symbol x1 alongside 500 Research Points.
5. Focus Type A
Focus Type A pendant in Monster Hunter: World requires you to have Daemon Ticket x1 and 500 Research Points.
6. Focus Type B
To craft the Focus Type B pendant, you’ll need Daemon Ticket x1 as well as 500 Research Points combined together.
7. Focus Type C
In order to unlock the Focus Type C pendant in MHW: Iceborne, you need to combine Daemon Ticket x1 and 500 Research Points in the game.
