Fix#1 – Running the Activation Troubleshooters

The first thing to do when you find a PC-related problem is to troubleshoot it. It should automatically identify and solve the issue. Do as follows to troubleshoot this issue.

  • Open Settings.
  • Select the Update and Security and choose Activation from the left.
  • Go ahead and press on Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooting process.
  • After the troubleshoot is finished, check if the issue persists after restarting your computer.

Fix# 2 – Activating with Phone:

Most people don’t know this but you can also activate Windows using your phone. To do this, follow these instructions:

  • Open Settings.
  • Choose Update and Security and select Activation from the left.

  • slmgr.vbs/dlv

  • Reinstall the product key with this command.
  • slmgr.vbs /ipk

  • Re[lace with the new activation key.
  • Go to Update and Security & Activation in your Settings.
  • Windows should be activated now.
