The September Cyberpunk 2077 Edgerunner update offers not one or two but fourteen new weapons (7x Melee and 7x Guns). You can purchase the new weapons from the seller or explore the world.
In this guide, I’ll show you the locations of all the Edgerunner weapons in Cyberpunk 2077. If you’re looking for an edge in combat, these powerful weapons will give you an upper hand over the deadliest enemies.
Location #1 (Kappa): Kappa is a pistol, but it’s not your average gun. It’s actually a smart pistol that can be purchased from the Japantown Rifles and Pistols shop in Westbork or Arroyo guns vendor in Santo Domingo.
Location #2 (Senkoh LX): The Senkoh LX is a tech Submachine Gun that can be purchased or found. If you want to buy the weapon:
- Go to the Downtown, City Center Jinguji store.
- Don’t be fooled by the appearance of the shop because it appears to be a clothing shop that sells weapons.
- Head south on 6th Street Arroyo Santo Domingo to Warehouse where you may pick up your weapons.
Location #3: Hypercritical: The Iconic Precision Rifle is a flawless one-of-a-kind model designed specifically for you. This weapon is only available to get during the “Concrete Cage Trap” gig in the Watson, Kabuki, as loot. Fast travel terminals in Kenedy North or Sutter Street may be used to go to Kabuki, depending on your preference. The only hint to get this gun is from finding Tiny Mike and looking for a specific bathroom you can visit. You can access this place any time after the gig.
Location #4 (VST-37 Pozhar): The VST-37 Pozhar is a power shotgun that must be purchased in Westbook and by the vendor in Japantown. The terminals closest to you are Skylines and Salinas; look for Rifles and Pistols there.
Location #5 (MA70 HB): The MA70 HB is a light machine gun, don’t be fooled by the term LMG; this weapon may still be dangerous. Visit Japantowns Rifles and Pistols in Westbrook to purchase the weapon.
Location #6 (Kyubi): Kyubi is a powerful assault rifle available for purchase from two different vendors. One vendor is in Westbrook, and the other one is in Heywood. It’s up to you which location you want to visit. If you choose Heywood, take Halsey and MLK’s fast travel routes until you reach the fourth-floor Rifles and Pistols shop. On the other hand, if you’d prefer to go to Westbrook, simply find Japantown’s Rifles and Pistols shop instead.
Location #7 (Guts): Guts is an Iconic Power Shotgun that you can only find at Corpo Plaza in Night City Center. The Arasaka Tower would be the best fast travel route to get there. Once you’re in the area, look for the orange icon, which will mark the location of this powerful weapon. Go to the very top of the plaza and search through the green bushes until you find it!
Edgerunner Melee Weapons Locations
Many vendors sell melee weapons, but Coach Fred’s in Watson’s is the best place to find newly added options (Little China). Below is a list of some of the Edgerunner Melee available at the Little China vendor:
- Neurotoxin (Knife)
- Cut-O-Matic(Chainsword)
- Punknife (Knife)
- Claw(Axe)
- Razor (Machete)
Location #6 (Blue Fang): The Blue Fang knife is an iconic weapon that can immediately stun your enemies with headshot effects. It takes 3 shots to activate the effect on other body parts. You can purchase this melee weapon from the vendor in Badlands.
Location #7 (Headhunter): The Headhunter knife is an iconic weapon that can be found in many places. However, I would suggest buying it from the vendor in the West Wind Estate near Pacifica. The best way to reach the area is by using the fast travel option at Wind Apartments.
