In the Tower of Doooom, players will face the greatest challenges! Madame Bwahstrella needs Mario, Rabbid Peach, and their friends to clean her multi-dimensional tower and save their old friend Spawny! Coming in early 2023, this extension will add a new combat game mode in which players will face highly strategic battles as they make their way to the top of the Tower.

The second downloadable content will have our Heroes traveling to a brand-new planet. Players will be able to explore new environments, filled with fun characters to meet, secrets to discover, but also new enemies to face. This new story content will be available in mid-2023.

In the last DLC, Rabbid Mario, Rabbid Peach, and Rayman will join forces in a surprising, fun and epic adventure. Players will be able to control Rayman and follow our Heroes as they explore a new and mysterious place. This DLC will arrive late-2023.

All downloadable contents require players to own Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope and are included in the game’s Season Pass. Tower of Doooom is exclusively available for Season Pass owners, while the two other expansions can be bought separately. The Season Pass is included in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope Gold Edition, on Nintendo Switch exclusively.

Midnite’s battle is divided into three stages, but don’t be alarmed; they are all essentially the same, albeit with varying enemy types and arena layouts. Every phase of the conflict is conducted according to the same overall strategy.

This fight is not as easy as you might take it, so it is necessary that you strategize which characters you want to take along with you. Rabbid Rosalina, who will fight beside you in this encounter—the first in which you get to lead four members of your group—will be the first step in that strategy. This is helpful since it gives you another set of attacks to pummel opponents. In this encounter, Rabbid Rosalina’s special spell Ennui, which renders enemies immobile for one round, is crucial. Take advantage of that, especially as Midnite teleports away after each hit she receives.

In this battle, Rabbid Peach’s healing abilities come in handy. Also, if someone dies in this phase, they will come back in the next phase with 1 HP, allowing you to heal them up and use them in battle. Even though you have this advantage, you must remain vigilant in this fight. Pay close attention in the first two rounds, especially when the sniping Lone Wolves appear, since they will attack you with their overwatch assault if you move within their line of sight. Midnite, in particular, can be targeted when you get to phase three, but until you get to that stage, be cautious and don’t let her minions overwhelm you. Use your Spark attacks as well when going after Midnite because she is especially vulnerable to Splash damage that those attacks have.

You need to remember that this battle is very long and very intense. Keep your HP up and sneak in a good amount of hits. After the third phase, be on the offense and be aggressive. This is the stage where Midnite bites the dust.

The Bowser will be your helping hand during the fight against Bedrock. The word “rock” in the name is for a reason- its outer side is covered with rocks and a rocket launcher. However, you and your team cannot directly hit this monster due to its solid shield or cover. So, to gain an advantage over the enemy, it’s advised that four party members come together against Bedrock.

Besides, The Bedrock has a slamming attack that will deal massive damage if you’re caught under it, so be sure to heal Rabbid Rosalina after the slam. The Bedrock doesn’t discriminate between friend and foe, so everyone in its path will take damage. Bowser will stand on your back and take care of your multiple enemies.

The Bedrock will only attack the person shooting at her, but the barrels of explosives in each quadrant can be used against her. Luring her into an explosive area is the best way to take away a large amount of health and eventually defeat her. Repeating this process four times should result in Bedrock’s death. Make sure the battlefield is clean, and use leapfrog to jump over explosive barrels with your friends.

Rabbid Rosalina Location: The Rabbid Rosalina can be equipped by completing the “Pristine Peaks” quest on the second planet. This is considered to be a major quest of Spark of Hope. You can reach the winding trail by claiming ownership of the mountains and following the marker left there. Stone Mask will battle you when you arrive, but after it has been destroyed, the second part of the map will become unlocked, and a giant castle awaits your exploration.

As you explore the castle, you must clear it to complete Pristine Peak’s second quest. A checklist is provided, which will take you to the throne room. In the throne room, Midnite is Cursa’s main minion and final boss of this level. Rabbid Rosalina will join forces with you during the battle. Once defeated, Rabbid Rosalina will accompany you for the rest of your journey.

Rabbid Rosalina Main Attack and Special Ability

Main Attack: Rabbid Rosalina is a powerful addition to your team because her stuffed animal attack significantly damages enemies. She can only target one enemy at a time, but her fire rate is fast enough to take down multiple enemies simultaneously.

Special Ability: The Ennui is the Rabbid Rosalina’s main ability that allows her to simultaneously take hold of several enemies and keep them in one place. This holding lasts for one round unless they are dealt damage. The special attack is beneficial when you want to immobilize the enemy. At the same time, you can go to another side of the battlefield to properly strategize your next move or call for reinforcements.

Tips for Phase 1 and Phase 2

The battle will start in an elevator, but the Darkmess won’t be alone. There will be another creature helping it fight, which you’ll have to deal with. Don’t let the eyes of the Darkmess scare you – they’re pretty scary – but you need to destroy all three of them first. In other words, if you destroy their eyes, they’ll come back to life. The most effective combination is Rabbid Luigi and Rabbid Mario; Disruptor can teleport into multiple eyes. Meanwhile, Duke’s attack has a triangular range that–if used correctly–can target all three simultaneously.

You’re in trouble now, and the eyes are just the beginning. The next thing you need to do is take down nearby enemies. You might receive a huge amount of damage, so it’s precautionary to use armor and healing before proceeding to the second phase.

No matter what stage you’re in, the eyes must be destroyed. When you reach the bottom of the well, taproots will be waiting for you. The fight against Darkmess is in two phases so that it will destroy your eyes one last time. Once that’s done, move on to destroying three roots. Jumping pads are the best way to keep moving and team up for jumps. Lastly, deal with the existing roots and finally vanquish Darkmess!

Every planet in Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope has a puzzle to solve, but Palette Prime’s is probably the one that will confound the majority of gamers right away. Continue reading to find out how we fixed it so you can do it too!

Riddle of Palette Prime Location: First, you must locate the riddle’s location. You can choose between two story quests on Palette Prime to get to the town square. We desire the de-colored woodland that Off-Color leads you through. Follow the instructions for that quest until you reach the Abandoned Well.

As you descend, keep an eye on the well’s right side. You’ll see a green hose down close. You’ll see another on a ledge just before reaching the bottom, but it isn’t the one that unlocks when you defeat the Darkmess Root. That one returns you to the top of the well.

Solving the Riddle of Palette Prime

Jump inside that pipe to enter a different room and find Professor Backpack. He says the following in his riddle: “A wooden bell rang to start the day. The lake’s singing began to swell, breaking the stillness. The crimson thief arrived at first light, searching for a valuable object to pawn. Night fell. The Guardian followed suit. It would assert that I was sleeping while watching over the forest.

The answer is shown in the screenshot above. However, the riddle is a little hazy sometimes. Place the fish by the rising sun, the duck by the full sun, the seahorse by the crescent moon, and the owl by the full moon, starting at the top and moving clockwise. Once the puzzle is resolved, you will receive another Planet Coin.

Bowser’s Location: Play the game until you get to Palette Prime, the third planet, because Bowser won’t be unlockable until then. When you do, you can do one of two things: either explore the woods to bring back the color that has been lost or travel via Woodrow’s house to get to the town plaza. The latter is a longer route, but the former will also get you to town; you only need to defeat the Darkmess Root before it opens. This is the key to unlocking Bowser.

It is irrelevant which route you take, as both the roads lead to the town square where the real fun begins. One of Cursa’s minions will greet you on arrival; the super sturdy Bedrock. Bowser also shows up along with him. When you fight Bedrock, Bowser will join you in the battle against Cursa, and he will become a full-fledged party member once you lay Bedrock to rest.

Bowser’s Abilities

When Bowser hits you, he hits hard, so he will make a very powerful ally to your team. His main weapon is the Bowzooka, a rocket launcher with an apt name that causes significant damage over a large area. Groups of foes require the usage of this move. In general, Bowser is excellent at managing hoards of enemies.

This also holds true for his unique power, which calls forth a Mechakoopa army. These will hunt out the nearest foe, and if they reach close enough, they will explode. If not, they will carry on in the following round. They are even more adaptable because the party can pick them up and toss them.
