PS5’s new controller, Dualsense, is an aspiring content creator’s dream. With the reveal of Sony’s newly designed controller, there are a couple of notable pieces of information.  First, we do not have the share button anymore. Second, we have far more useful to create a button on the new controller. The features of this create button are a big jump forward from the old share button.  Sony wants to create its own creator’s network and allow people to be more in control of what they share, and how they do it.  Users can record gameplay, edit, and share it on multiple social media platforms as well as the PlayStation Network using the Dualsense create button. PS5 is the most creator-friendly PlayStation ever created.

For the buttons, you’ll notice there is no longer a “Share” button as we had with DualShock 4. Don’t worry – it’s not going away. In fact, we’ve built upon the success of our industry-first Share button to bring you a new “Create” button feature. With Create, we’re once again pioneering new ways for players to create epic gameplay content to share with the world, or just to enjoy for themselves.

Creating and sharing content is a big part of the create button.  Creators can create helpful guides and stream content easily. Thanks to the PlayStation IA, users can use voice and text commands to pull in relevant videos for help whenever required. There is a ranking system for the creators and a feedback system for the users. The ranking of the content you create will depend on three factors.

  • User Feedback
  • Credibility
  • Freshness

In the coming weeks and months, Sony will reveal more details about the console. Rumor has it that IGN’s summer event features a PS5 info blowout. Let’s see when and what kind of information we get from Sony Interactive Entertainment.
