There are a few different ways to celebrate in Madden NFL 21. You can celebrate after a successful touchdown or while running toward the endzone. In this Madden NFL 21 guide, we’ve detailed everything you need to know about how to celebrate different celebrations in the game.
How to Celebrate in Madden NFL 21
First, let’s talk about celebrations that you can do after a successful touchdown. To celebrate after a touchdown, you’ll need to hold the right analogue stick in different directions.
- Up: Celebrate with the team
- Down: Individual signature celebration
- Left: Perform a little dance
- Right: Spike the ball
- Press the R3: Perform a swagger move
If you aren’t interested in post-touchdown celebrations, you can also celebrate while holding the ball. To showboat while holding the ball, you’ll need to input the following command:
- PS4: L2 + R2 + X
- Xbox: LT + RT + A
By holding these buttons while running in the field, your player will perform one of several random celebrations. Unlike the touchdown celebrations, you won’t be able to choose a specific celebration.
However, do note that celebrations tend to slow you down and you’re prone to be easily fumbled. Keeping this in mind, you should always see if there are no defenders nearby that can catch up to you. If there are defenders close-by, try to avoid celebrating while running with the ball.
Lastly, you can also activate a signature dive into the endzone. To do so, you’ll need to input the following commands:
- PS4: L2 + Square
- Xbox: LT + X
As mentioned earlier, the celebration that your player decides to perform is always random. The only exception to this is touchdown celebration which you can choose.
