Getting The Shotgun In Resident Evil Village: Shadows Of Rose
You can get the shotgun in Castle Dimitrescu and it is pretty hard to miss. Once you have escaped Duke’s creatures the first time around, you can go back to the main hall. Head through the doors into the dining room and you will find the shotgun locked behind some iron bars.
There is a three-eye symbol behind it which is supposed to act as a hint to unlocking the weapon. Once you have spotted the weapon, you will want to get it as soon as possible but you will need to wait until you are almost done with this area.
As you go through the Shadow of Rose DLC you will gather keys that help you get the masks in the castle. Two of them are the Monocular Key and the Triocular Key. These will allow you to proceed further into the DLC by unlocking the eye doors.
To get the shotgun, you need to get the Triocular Key from the painting room, at the top of the stairs in the main hall. Solve the puzzle in the room in order to get the key. You can then use the key to unlock the shotgun in the dining room.
