The Division 2 Shock Roach Field Research Guide – Unlocking Gunner Specialization

One of the requirements that you need to fulfill in order to unlock The Division 2 Gunner specialization is called “shock Roach twice before defeating him in Bank Headquarters”. Do note that Year-1 Pass holders don’t need to complete these Field Research missions (as the game calls them) since they’re automatically given access to the specialization. Here’s how you can complete The Division 2 Shock Roach Field Research to unlock the 4th specialization.

The Division 2 Shock Roach Field Research

In order to complete the said Field Research, the first thing that you need to do is to start the Bank Headquarters mission on any difficulty setting. Do note that the mission needs to be ‘Normal’ and not ‘Invaded’.

Once done, progress through the mission as normal until you get to Roach. However, after you get there, you’ll realize that there’s no Shock Ammo nearby. In order to find a Shock Ammo Box, reach the point where you come across an open area and look for a tall billboard advertising something related to medicine.

You should be able to locate the Ammo Box right next to it. Now, the important thing here is to swap to your sidearm (Pistol or Sawed-Off Shotgun) before restocking on the Shock Ammo. Don’t restock Shock Ammo on your Primary Weapon, otherwise, you’ll most probably fail the Field Research.

Once you’ve done so, swap to your sidearm and shoot Roach once in order to shock him. After that, use your Primary Weapon to clear the area of enemies and shoot Roach once more. While there’s no confirmation as to how long you should take between shooting Roach but to be on the safe side, try to wait somewhere between 5-10 seconds before shooting him again.

After you’re done, simply complete the mission and you’re done. However, one important thing to note that some players have reported a bug that doesn’t register two shocks, forcing you to start over. If that’s the case, you’re out of luck, sadly!

This is all we’ve in our The Division 2 Shock Roach Field Research Guide. If there’s anything else that you’d like to add, be sure to let us know in the comments section below!

The Division 2 Dodge City Gunslinger Exotic Holster Quest Guide – How to Get, Exotic Talents

With The Division 2 TU4 rolled out on the live servers, the game now has its first piece of Exotic Gear: a holster called the Dodge City Gunslinger Exotic Holster alongside the new Gunner specialization. It’s a pretty good holster given the fact that it can work with different niche builds. It’s definitely not a must-have holster for every build out there, especially if you’re chasing certain Attributes/Talents, but there are other Exotic Armor pieces on the way (hopefully!).

One important thing to note about the Dodge City Gunslinger Exotic Holster is that you can equip with Liberty Exotic Pistol, making it one of the better holsters for pistol builds. You can also use it to replace holsters with “Fill ‘Er Up” (LMG builds) since you’ll reload both your LMGs faster with the Exotic Holster equipped.

The Division 2 Dodge City Gunslinger Exotic Holster

Before we begin talking about acquiring the Exotic Holster in the game, let’s talk about Talents and Mod Slots available. There are no Attributes on the said holster. The holster comes with three Talents:

Talent Effects
Sleight of Hand Requires a Pistol to be equipped.
  • +20% Stability
  • +40% Reload Speed
  • +400% Optimal Range
  • +20 % Revolver Damage
Quick Draw Swapping to your pistol reloads all your weapons.
Perforator
  • Shots fired from your pistol penetrate enemies.
  • Pistol headshot kills grant +20 percent weapon damage and allows your primary and secondary weapons to penetrate enemies for eight seconds This duration is increased to 11 seconds when using a revolver.

There are one Utility and two Offensive mod slots. With that out of the way, let’s talk about how to acquire Dodge City Gunslinger Exotic Holster in The Division 2.

How to Unlock?

The first thing that you need to do is to go to Blueprints Vendor in the Base of Operations (near Crafting Station) and purchase a Project called “Holster Intel: Go West… Young Agent”. It should cost you around 10,000 in-game Credits. The said Project requires you to take over the westernmost Control Point called “Riverside Gas Station”. You don’t need to level up the Control Point and can take it over at Level 1 to complete the step.

Once you’re done, you’ll receive the “Fast Leather Belt” component inside the reward cache upstairs. Turn in the Project and get the next one called “The Good, the Bad, and the Evil”. This one requires you to collect three more components which are locked behind Level 4 Control Points belonging to the game’s three main Enemy Factions i.e. Hyenas, True Sons, and Outcasts.

Assemble your squad and take over Level 4 Control Points belonging to each of the aforementioned Enemy Factions. You should be able to see a Named Enemy wearing a cowboy hat in the final wave. The following is a breakdown of which components you can get from these Control Points:

Ornate Leather Holster: Level 4 Hyena Control Point
Oiled Leather Holster: Level 4 Outcasts Control Point
Inverter Leather Holster: Level 4 True Sons Control Point

With a total of four Exotic Pieces in your inventory, return to the Base of Operations and acquire another Project called “Showdown at High Noon Saloon”. To complete this Project, what you need to do is to head over to the southeast of the White House to a bar. However, there’s a little catch. You must show up at the bar a little after 12:00 PM in-game time. You can check the in-game time by opening up the Photo Mode and looking at the bottom-right of the screen.

If you show up the right time, you should be able to see a few Black Tusk guys inside the bar (right next to an Echo collectible). You simply need to eliminate these men followed by another Named Enemy in a cowboy hat to get the final piece called “Holster: Rind”. Once done, return to the Base of Operations to acquire the Exotic Holster blueprint.

In order to craft Dodge City Gunslinger Exotic Holster in The Division 2, you need all the parts that we just acquired, one Providence Holster, and one Petrov Holster. If you don’t want to dismantle your current pieces, you can always craft them at the Crafting Station, provided you’ve required materials.

This is all we’ve in our Division 2 Dodge City Gunslinger Exotic Holster. Now you can work on your pistol builds, Agents!

The Division 2 Gunner Specialization Perks Guide, All Skill Tree Abilities

The Division 2 Gunner Specialization is now available to everyone that downloads the new update. Here we are going to look into all the different perks that the Gunner has in the new skill tree. That can be found beside the 3 existing Division 2 Specializations. The Division 2 Gunner Specialization Perks are very impressive and can be used to create a very tanky character.

Gunner Specialization Perks

The Division 2 Gunner Specialization is tanky and can take a lot of damage. It can deal decent damage as well. The minigun is a deadly weapon. The specialization does have some drawbacks. With the minigun equipped, you cannot take cover, roll or even sprint.

There are plenty of perks in the skill tree that will help you counter these limitations. The damage of the minigun can be increased. The armor that you get from different sources can be increased as well.

While different specializations allow you to increase the damage of a specific weapon type, the Gunner Specialization in The Division 2 has different perks that allow you to increase the damage of pretty much any weapon type from the skill tree.

This is unique to the Gunner for now. The specialization is relatively new so we will have to wait and see what people think about it and how it actually plays.

You can check out the complete list of perks that are included as part of the Gunner specialization skill tree in The Division 2 below:
Gunner Specialization Perks Affect
Incessant Kills grant 5% armor
Coupler Every 5th reload is 50% faster
Hardened Armor Kits Armor kits provide 100% armor and 50% bonus armor for 10 seconds.
Banshee Launches a forward arc of pulse energy that confuses enemies that are caught in the wave. Penetrates cover.
Microwave Amplifier This mod increases the effect of Banshee.
Directional Transmitter This mod increases the range of Banshee.
Supply Line Generates 10% of total ammo capacity every 60 seconds. Party members get 5%.
Barrage Rate of fire increases by 5% on kills for 5 seconds
Emplacement 20% weapon handling after being motionless for 1 second.
Vital Protection Reduce the chance of getting critically hit in fights by 20%.
Minigun Ammo Acquisition Killing multiple enemies without releasing the trigger adds 3 to the ammo bar.
Group Signature Ammo Acquisition Killing multiple enemies without releasing the trigger adds 1 to the group members’ ammo bar.
Signature Weapon Damage Weapon damage increases with tiers.
Riot Foam Grenade A special grenade that holds enemies in place.

From these perks, you have an idea of what the Gunner will be capable of when all these perks have been unlocked. It is going to be very tanky. Not only will it be able to deal a lot of damage but it will be able to take a lot of damage as well.

If you own the season pass then The Division 2 Gunner Specialization will be available to you instantly. If you do not, then you will have to complete a couple of Field Research Missions in order to unlock the new specialization.

The Division 2 is coming to Google Stadia. You will be able to play it on pretty much any device. In order to do so, you will need to buy the Founder’s Edtion kit but it is still very appealing. We also talked about some cons of the platform. Which you should check out as well.

Let us know what you think about The Division 2 Gunner Specialization and whether or not you are interested in checking it out.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Hidden Walls Guide – Find All Shinobi Doors

Hidden Walls or Illusory Walls have always been a staple of FromSoftware games (Dark Souls) and now have returned in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. Hidden Walls are essentially secret pathways that often connect two or more locations and contain treasures. However, in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, these Hidden Walls work a little differently as opposed to Dark Souls games.

Where in Dark Souls, you had to hit an Illusory Wall to open up a passage, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice requires you to interact with a Hidden Wall in order to open it up. Doing so will see Wolf (Sekiro) hug the wall and rotate to the other side. A white silhouette of a man marks the presence of these Shinobi Doors (as Sekiro calls them) in the game.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Hidden Walls

You can expect to find Prayer Beads (used to increase your Vitality and Posture) behind Shinobi Doors. Apart from that, there are a few Illusory Walls that you need to open in order to progress certain NPC questlines such as the one found in Mibu Village.

Moreover, as mentioned earlier, some Shinobi Doors connect one or more areas. A notable example of this is the secret pathway connecting the Dilapidated Temple with Kuro’s Room in Ashina Castle. Following are the locations of all available Hidden Walls in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.

Shinobi Door #1
Ashina Outskirts
You’ll find this one directly behind the Headless mini-boss fight. Behind the wall, you’ll find a shortcut to Senpou Temple, Mt. Kongo and the Demon Bell Temple Idol.

Shinobi Door #2
Hirata Estate: Hirata Audience Chamber
While moving toward Juzou the Drunkard mini-boss, you’ll come across a house down an alleyway. The wall is on the left-hand side of the house. Once inside, you’ll find Mibu Balloon of Wealth, Light Coin Purse, Divine Confetti, and a Prayer Bead.

Shinobi Door #3
Ashina Castle: Upper Tower – Antechamber Idol
You need to make your way toward the area where you can grapple into the ceiling. Continue ahead toward the Samurai-armor and you should be able to spot it. Behind the wall, you’ll find Light Coin Purse, Heavy Coin Purse, and a Prayer Bead.

Shinobi Door #4
Ashina Castle: Kuro’s Room Idol
After you defeat Genichiro for the first time, proceed to Kuro’s room and you’ll find a secret passageway leading to Dilapidated Temple. You’ll unlock it automatically during the course of the game. A little fun-fact: this is how Emma moved between Ashina Castle and Kuro’s room. There’s nothing else behind this wall.

Shinobi Door #5
Mibu Village: Wedding Cave Door
Just before the Corrupted Monk fight arena, you’ll see a group of mobs praying outside a house. You basically need to slide below this house from the right-hand side and continue toward the left side where you’ll find the final Illusory Wall directly above you on one of the floorboards.

Once you’re inside the house, you will find Red Lump, Divine Confetti, a Prayer Bead, Heavy Coin Purse, Light Coin Purse, and Adamantine Scrap. Do note that you can also access the house from the backside and open the hidden passage from within the house.

This is all we’ve in our Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Hidden Walls Locations Guide. For more on Sekiro, be sure to check out our other guides.
