NG+ has always been a staple in FromSoftware games and Elden Ring is no different. After beating the game once, the player can directly transition into NG+ that lets them start all over. There are, however, some things that must be noted before starting a NG+. In this guide, we have detailed all there is to know about NG+, things that go away, and things that persist.
Elden Ring NG+
There are a lot of changes that must be kept in mind before beginning a NG+ in Elden Ring. In the sections below, we have provided a brief overview of all the changes that can be expected in NG+ modes:
Things that Stay
Below, we have provided a complete list of all the things that persist through NG+:
- Character Level
- All the weapons, armor, sorceries, spells, incantations, Talismans, cookbooks, etc.
- Exploration progress on the map
- Remembrances
- Upgrades from Sacred Tear and Golden Apple
- Memory Stones
Things that Go Away
As for the things that do not persist in NG+ include the following:
- Site of Graces – all of them
- Medallions
- All the NPC questlines
- Bell Bearings
- Great Runes
- Story-related items
Other Changes
In addition to changes mentioned above, there are also things like scaling related to enemies, bosses, and runes. Enemies hit a lot harder in NG+ and this continues to increase in consequent NG+ modes.
Another thing to keep in mind is that there are no exclusive items in Elden Ring like Dark Souls. However, people can get weapons from Remembrances in NG+.
This is all we have got in our Elden Ring NG+ guide. For more help on the game, feel free to check out our detailed Elden Ring wiki page.
