With the release of the Edgerunners update, a lot of content from the anime has been added to Cyberpunk 2077. David and Lucy were a great couple and plenty of Edgerunner fans have jumped into the game since the season finale. In this Cyberpunk 2077 guide, we are going to go over how you can get David Martinez’s jacket.
Getting David’s Jacket In Cyberpunk 2077
In order to get David’s jacket in Cyberpunk 2077, you need to head over to his old apartment. It might seem that V and David have the same apartment and live in the same building but that is not the case. David’s apartment is in the Santo Domingo district. You can head over to his apartment by fast traveling to the Metro: Wollesen Street as shown in the image below:
After you fast-travel to the location, take the stairs down and turn left. You will see a giant yellow building that has “No Entry” written on it. This is David’s building and while you can look at it from outside, you cannot head inside and take a look around his actual apartment.
You need to look for a small alleyway next to the closed-off door. You will find the Edgerunners logo from the anime on a wall here. Right next to the logo, you will find a braindance sitting on the top of a trashcan. Pick up the braindance and a cinematic for the anime will play. After which you will be able to make contact with El Capitan. Wait a while for him to respond when he talks about David and you will be contacted by Falco.
This will start the “Over the Edge” questline which ties in with the Edgerunners anime. During the questline, you will go the El Capitan’s apartment. If you go to the roof, you will find David’s jacket on the edge as shown in the image below:
