God of War: Ragnarok Guiding Light Armor Set Location Guide

When you journey to Nine Realms, you won’t earn armor from every quest in the God of War: Ragnarok. After Kratos and Freya return to Midgard and Atreus leaves with Thor, you must start the Guiding Light quest by visiting the Temple of Tyr. To progress, you must find the four statue pieces of Tyr. By reading the runes on these statues, you will be able to unveil more about the new story and earn some spectacular new armor. In this guide, I’ll tell you how to get the Guiding Light Armor Set in God of War: Ragnarok.

The “Lake of Nine” area in Midgard becomes unlocked after you finish the 9th main mission, The Word of Fate. You’ll need to explore the different ruins around the lake for a chance to find pieces of Guiding Light Armor.

Waist Guard

Start your search for armor pieces on the “shores of Nine.” Freya, also known as Woods and Frigg Witch, and Mimir, nicknamed the Smartest Man Alive, will join you on your quest. Start your journey, and don’t stop until you find the small entrance.

Once you enter, keep going straight through the broken pieces until you reach a giant open area. In the open area, you will see a blue light beam. Follow it until you find the source of the Light, which is coming from one of the ruin’s broken pieces, and then Press the “O” Key to interact.

When the interaction is complete, it will reveal the text maker that will tell you the Guiding Light has begun. The message in writing says, “Iron peace, not a golden war.” Freya will tell you about the hardships Tyr faced during the war.

A text marker will now appear that says, “statue runes read 1 of 4.” You should get the Waist Guard of Guiding Light to improve Kratos’s fighting skills. Doing so, however, won’t be easy as you’ll need to take down enemies like Hel-walkers. Also, don’t forget to use your shield!

Gauntlets

Follow the Marker on the map to reach the Northeastern side of the map to get the “Gauntlets of Guiding Light.” Your journey will begin from the location where you find the right bracers. After reaching the “Lake of Nine,” explore the nearby area and find the left bracer. For your assistance, you could use the sled and hit the pile of fresh snow and let the sled do a swift left turn once. Now go much deeper and deeper into the lake.

The “Gauntlets of Guiding Light” are located on the Northeastern side of the map. To begin your journey, find the right bracer at the starting location. Once you reach the “Lake of Nine,” explore nearby for the left bracer. You can use a sled to speed things up by hitting a pile of snow and making a sharp left turn when prompted. After that, make your way deeper into the lake.

Park, your sled, then look around for the next ruin. Freya will tell you when to stop and search through the rubble, which is probably from a statue of Tyr. You’ll see another light beam which you need to follow. After reading the writing on the statue, Kratos has a message for you: “Defend The Peace.” After you obtain your second statue of ruins, Freya the witch will recount a memory to you about Jotnar crafting bracers for Tyr’s statue. In doing so, both of you will receive 325 EXP in total.

Breastplate

After you get the left bracer and follow the next quest marker to start your hunt for a Breastplate, the sled is the best way to travel quickly in the snow. You can reach the Raider Stronghold by sled, which maps out the western side. Be careful, though; you will encounter several enemies along your journey who won’t be tough to defeat. When you finally reach the stronghold after a long battle, find a spot in the snow that isn’t blocked by anything and park your sled there.

As you move around, you’ll come across a giant golden ruin. You need to find Tyr’s Helmet, which has broken down his statue. Opening the helmet will reveal a light beam shining on a spot nearby. Kratos needs to decode the text with the help of Mimir in order to figure out what it means. The message is “Win minds, nor wars.” Mimir translates it for Kratos and reveals that the hidden message is that true battle is always for people’s hearts and minds.

Jotunheim’s Essence

The final piece is Jotunheim’s Essence, which you can find in the Stronghold Southern. However, on your way there, you will come across a that at the right end of the stronghold. Use the sled quickly and go downwards. Remember that the final quest marker is slightly off-center from where you are coming in, so be extra careful not to miss it when parking your sled! And finally, don’t stop moving until you find a light beam for direction.

Once you reach the light beam, go and interact with the item that comes your way. You will be in the right spot when Freya says, “isn’t this the spear from Tyr’s Statue?” Now Kratos’ work begins–finding whispering slabs after digging through snow and using the spear to decode a message that reads, “Wish for peace, be ready for war.” Freya will tell you that Tyr was always ready for war, but he never wished it would happen.

This is all we have got in how to get the Guiding Light Armor Set in God of War: Ragnarok. Be sure to see our detailed God of War: Ragnarok wiki page for more tips and strategies.

How to Beat Forest Ancient in God of War Ragnarok: Boss Fight

The “Reckoning Quest” will take you to the mini-boss known as the Forest Ancient in God of War Ragnarok. In this guide, I’ll tell you how to beat the Forest Ancient in God of War Ragnarok. After you leave Freyr’s camp in Vanaheim, the first mini-boss you will encounter is the Forest Ancient. The fight will automatically start as soon as you get close to it. However, the variant will be different for future Ancients encounters, but the strategy remains the same.

God of War Ragnarok Forest Ancient Bos Fight Tips

The Forest Ancients’ trademark attack is an open chest blast covering the entire area in beams. You need to dodge the beam by hiding them behind the tree. Then, you need to throw Leviathan at the chest opening to collect the orb. After picking the orb, throw them at the boss to give him huge damage.

If you’re lucky, the orbs will recharge your white bar and stun the Forest Ancient. When she’s stunned, go after her quickly and hold down “R3” for a stronger attack. Your stronger attack might not kill the boss outright, but it will take away a huge chunk of her health.

The Forest Ancient’s minions will join the fight to save him when he is close to death. Do not underestimate them, but maintain a safe distance. If the monster jumps towards you, hold the “X” key to drop it. Continue hitting the boss until all of its health is gone, and it falls to the ground and explodes.

That’s all we have for now, but if you need more help, here are some more helpful guides you might like:

How to Beat Alva in God of War Ragnarok: Boss Fight Guide

God of War Ragnarok is one of the most difficult games due to its tough bosses. It’s not just the regular enemies that will present a challenge; the bosses are especially hard. You’ll face some of this game’s toughest and most powerful foes, and one of them is Alva. In this guide, I’ll tell you how to beat the Alva in God of War Ragnarok. You will find Alva by heading to the Temple of Light, where you take down “Hilt of Gram.” However, before getting to the battle scene, you must complete the “Statues Puzzle.”

God of War Ragnarok Alva Boss Fight Tips

To efficiently take down the Alva, you must first master shield strikes. This can be done by pressing “L1” twice. In other words, use this technique when you see a blue ring around the attacker. Doing so will interrupt the enemy’s attack.

Attack #1: Get ready for a giant wind-up when you see the dual slashes. You can dodge these attacks.

Attack #2: Alva will use an unblockable ground attack. So the best thing you can do is to roll away from it.

Attack #3: Alva will start throwing the blades, so roll under them to avoid them.

Attack #4: Another attack you need to watch out for is the cross-energy blasts. Again, you must dodge this attack.

Strategy

If Alva tries to heal herself with the light of Alfheim, you need to stop it. Otherwise, she will keep depleting her health and running in a loop. Press the “L1” key to perform the strike shield, interrupting her healing process. Then use your signature move to kill her.

That’s everything you need to know everything about beating Alva in God of War Ragnarok. Need more help? Here are some more helpful guides you might like:

How to Beat Gryla in God of War Ragnarok: Boss Fight Guide

In the God of War Ragnarok, you will find Ironwood in Jotunheim. This is a very dark and beautiful forest where you will encounter Gryla. Taking down Gryla requires more strategy than power and is done in three phases. This guide will discuss all the details you need to know on how to beat Gryla in God of War Ragnarok.

God of War Ragnarok Gryla Boss Fight Tips

Phase #1 Tips: Unlike other bosses you’ve fought, Gryla cannot be stunned and hit. So to hurt her during phase #1 of the boss fight, attack the purple runes on her cauldron. You’ll know when she transforms into a cauldron because she’ll expose the Runes–and hold “R3′ to lock her; it’ll be easy to spot.

You can’t hit Gryla like normal until she’s stunned, so during Phase 1 of the Gryla boss fight, hit the purple runes on her cauldron to cause damage. It’s easier to see when Gryla has turned the cauldron around, exposing the runes if you lock on to her with R3.

She will later start throwing things from the cauldron. Dodge these items by moving close to Gryla and rolling back when she stamps her feet. Attack her four times so that her health bar will be depleted, and she will hit the floor, stunning herself in the process. Use this opportunity to counter-attack with a melee attack on the purple rune cauldron. When she backs up, the second phase of fighting will begin.”

Phase #2 Tips: The second phase of the fight starts when the floor turns red. To avoid injury, jump onto one of the ledges. The best way to attack during this phase is to wait for Gryla to come near a large candle on a ledge, then get Agraboda to blow it up.

Atreus will hit the purple runes on Gryla’s cauldron when she’s stunned. To get her stunned, Atreus hits the cauldron’s purple runes. Observe Gryla and wait for her to turn the purple runes on the cauldron before she starts throwing projectiles. Avoid getting hit by them.

Gryla will be stunned when her four health bars are depleted, so take this opportunity to use melee attacks on her as much as possible.

Phase #3 Tips: The third phase of the battle is arguably the most challenging. Just as you did in phase two, draw Gryla to the candle and then have Agraboda blow it up–this will stun her and give you a chance to target purple runes on her cauldron. Again, switch the platforms until you get the right angle of the cauldron while she is stunned.

You will die if you don’t hit Gryla with your arrows when she throws projectiles at Atreus. Don’t forget to jump over the platform to avoid the red floor, and when Gryla only has one health bar left, use “R3” to counter and end the fight.

That’s everything you need to know on how to beat Gryla. If you need more help, here are some more guides you may find helpful:

How to Make Money Fast in Harvestella

Harvestella is a large, open world with many different areas to explore. To progress through the game, you will need to earn money by completing tasks and selling items you find. Money is also needed to purchase upgrades and new equipment. In this guide, I’ll tell you how to make money fast in Harvestella.

Making Money Fast in Harvestella is Easy; Here’s How

Selling Crops: One of the best ways to make money in Harvestella is by selling crops you’ve harvested from plants. You can get a reasonable price for them at the market. And if you’re worried about seeds, don’t worry—there are ways to earn free seeds. You can talk to NPCs and chests and wait until they come to your mailbox via courier.

Find Treasure Chests: Another great way to make money in Harvestella is by finding and looting treasure chests. You can find these chests worldwide, which usually contain a good amount of money. Check every nook and cranny because you never know where a chest might be hiding.

Forage Items and Then Sell: Foraging is the way to go if you want to make money without putting in too much effort. As you explore the forest, keep an eye out for any drops that enemies may leave behind or mushrooms/berries that can be collected. Once you have a good collection of items, you can sell them at the market for a profit. On average, enemies will drop 100 Grilla per item, while mushrooms and berries give 20 Grilla each.

Selling Recipes: Making money from cooking is easier than you think! Just start cooking in your kitchen. But before you get started, renovate your countertops with the help of a Renovator in Lethe Village. Once you’ve made a few meals, sell them for profit. You can also progress through cooking courses to unlock even more valuable recipes. Some of the most popular include juicers and flour mills.

Selling Fish: Fishing is a great way to make money, and it’s also one of the most relaxing activities in Harvestella. To start fishing, you must purchase a fishing rod and get a fishing license. Once you have your rod, find a body of water and cast your line. Then, you can sell the fish you catch at the market for a higher profit.

Side Quests: There are many side quests available in Harvestella, and most of them will reward you with at least 1,000 Grilla. These quests can range from simple fetch quests to more complex tasks, so be sure to choose ones you’re confident you can complete. To find these quests, talk to NPCs and look for the exclamation points above their heads.

Selling Extra Raw Materials: If you find that you have a lot of raw materials and don’t need them, sell them for profit. You can get a reasonable price for raw materials at the Shipping Container, so it’s worth your while to sell them if you don’t need them.

Complete Job Board’s Task: Go to the Lethe Village and find the Job Board next to Cres’s residence. Then, interact with Cres so she can give you a task, complete it, and claim your prize. Usually, the reward ranges from 1,000 – 3,000 Grilla.

How To Raise Livestock In Harvestella

Harvestella is a game that simulates the process of raising livestock. The game aims to produce food for the player’s settlers by growing crops and raising animals. In this guide, I’ll tell you how to raise livestock In Harvestella.

The Conellu Emporium is a Lethe Village vendor selling livestock feed and the Totokaku mount. You can unlock it by collecting a Conellu Doll from Higan Canyon in Chapter 2. However, you cannot purchase livestock from him the first time you unlock the Conellu Emporium. You need to build pens before you purchase livestock from the vendor.

How To Build Livestock Pens

You can only initially keep three livestock in one pen, but you can build more pens as you go. Head towards the Lethe Village’s southern edge and speak with the Renovator to get started. Each new pen takes a day to construct and cannot be used instantly, so plan accordingly. You are also limited to building only one new pen per day.

To purchase Cluffowl or Woolum, you need the following:

  • 5,000 Grilla
  • 5x Lumber
  • 5x Hard Stone

The things mentioned above are for constructing a website from scratch–not upgrading an existing one. Upgrading will cost significantly more.

How To Purchase and Feed livestock

Purchasing: The Conellu Emporium offers Cluffowls for 500 Grilla and Woolums for 900 Grilla from the Conellu Emporium. Cluffowls lay eggs, while Woolums produce milk but not immediately. It’s important to note that there is a limit of one purchase per day from the vendor.

Feeding: The Conellu Emporium is the only vendor that sells Cluffowl and Woolum feed for 100 Grilla each.

How Can Livestock Production Be Increased

Daily pet your animals affectionately to increase livestock production, which you can check by visiting the signboard outside their pen. The higher the affection rating, the better your production will be.

That concludes our Livestock guide, but if you need more help, check out Hammer crafting guide.

How to Craft a Hammer in Harvestella

A Hammer is a fundamental tool in Harvestella. It can serve various purposes, like building anything, from new construction to clearing more land for farming. In this guide, I’ll show you how to craft the Hammer in Harvestella.

Crafting a Hammer in Harvestella is Easy

You won’t start the game with a hammer or automatically receive one from Cres, so you’ll have to craft it yourself. The only thing Cres will do is tell you when you need to craft the hammer. To craft the hammer, you need to collect the 10x Hard Stones and then go to the inventory to begin the process.

The Hard Stones you are looking for can be found near Njord Steppe. These stones aren’t anything special that requires you to work hard. They are very common and easy to get. Quickly travel to the east side of the Njord Steppe. You will see that some nodes contain Hard Stones. Mine these nodes to obtain the stone.

The only drawback when you arrive at the Hard Stones farm is that there won’t be enough nodes available to craft the hammer in one sitting. However, you will be happy to know that the nodes respawn daily. Even though it takes some time to craft a hammer, it is not difficult. You need to mine the node’s daily limits and go back home to sleep for one day before returning mine more nodes. Repeat this process until you get 10x Hard Stones.

As you can see from the map, many rock symbols represent Hard Stone mining locations. So it is easy to find and mine these stones. To get more opportunities to mine Hard Stones, visit as many mining spots as possible.
